As the world is reeling from the effects of the Corona Virus pandemic, parents of young children are faced with dilemmas as to what is the best scenario for your child. We understand and know that there is nothing that can replace the physical class room and social interactions for our kids. However, SEED has put together a thoughtful and well researched curriculum, adapted for our current scenario. We have planned live sessions with teachers. Each child will be given a kit that will have almost everything your child needs to make learning fun, creative and hands-on. Each activity is very thoughtfully put together to take care of your child’s development. Each teacher will personalise your child’s learning. There will be constant observations and the lesson plans will be altered accordingly. In addition, video lesson plans will be available for parents to access if you need.

SEED always takes extra precautions when it comes to our children. We have taken utmost care not to overburden your child. The activities focus on interacting with children through movements, singing, stories and conversations. There will also be additional special classes in big groups like Drama and Storytelling by a theatre group called Crea Sakthi, Music by the famous Sapa Group and Yoga Stretches and Gross Motor Play by our teachers.

Neuroscience has proven that 90% of the brain develops in the first five years of life. What does that mean? It means it’s the first five years that lay the foundation for life and children go through a period of rapid learning in the first five years.

Our children, since the last March 2020,, have been cooped up at home with very little stimulation. This is likely to continue for the next several months. Their brains are making new connections that will one day become the blueprint for their life. And during this period, if they don’t receive the right kind of care or learning, they will probably grow up with life and learning deficits….and that is something that we need to work together to avoid.
