OUR LEADERSHIP

Dr. Jaya Sastri

SEED is headed by the dynamic Dr. Jaya Sastri, who has over 35 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education, in the U.S. and in India. Dr. Jaya has a Masters in Early Childhood Education from the U.S., and was recently conferred an honorary doctorate in recognition of her contributions to the Early Childhood Education field. She was the Director of Programs at Headstart in the U.S.A. She has also founded and successfully ran her own international school in Nigeria.

Vani SASTRI

Vani Sastri is one of the Co-Founders of Seed Academy, and a Director at SEED. A passionate educator, Vani loves working with children to bring out their best. An alumnus of the renowned Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Vani worked with McKinsey & Company in San Francisco before returning to India to work with SEED & Seed Academy full time. She was selected as one of 45 entrepreneurs from India for the prestigious Stanford Seed Transformation Program by Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2018.

SEED teachers and staff come from diverse educational backgrounds, but they share a love for education, an enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to providing the best possible educational experience for your child.

Our Quality Excellence Team and Training Team ensure that all staff including support staff are trained both theoretically and hands-on before they are in the class with children. There is a minimum of 25 hours of training per term teachers with a three hour refresher course every month. SOPs and quality excellence audits enable us to take our centers far beyond excellence.
